Frankly Speaking is operated by David Frank, based in Switzerland. We provide an AI-powered LinkedIn content platform for founders and professionals.

2. What information we collect

Information you provide

  • Name and email address when you create an account
  • LinkedIn profile data when you connect your account
  • Content you create, upload, or record (posts, voice recordings, documents)
  • Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store card details)

Information collected automatically

  • Pages you visit and features you use
  • Browser type, device type, and IP address
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the Frankly Speaking platform
  • Publish content to LinkedIn on your behalf (only when you instruct us to)
  • Send transactional emails (account invitations, notifications, password resets)
  • Improve the platform and develop new features
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. LinkedIn data

When you connect your LinkedIn account, we request only the permissions needed to:

  • Display your profile information within the app
  • Publish posts to LinkedIn on your behalf

We do not store your LinkedIn credentials. You can disconnect LinkedIn at any time from the Settings page, which will revoke our access.

5. Who we share your data with

We share data only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the platform, including:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Supabase — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Anthropic — AI content generation (your content may be processed by their API)
  • Stripe — payment processing

Each provider is bound by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance reasons.

7. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you logged in and to understand how the platform is being used. You can control cookie settings in your browser, though disabling them may affect functionality.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Data portability
